GHHF has been organizing Bala Samskar centers since 2022 in Bangladesh educating children about our roots, Sanatana dharma, culture also helping in their school studies. None of their academics talk about our dharma or culture, our heroes. GHHF felt it is our responsibility to teach these people who separated and pushed away. We have 250 children in 7 centers under our umbrella who are practicing our dharma, bhajan and rituals under our guidance.
Since more than a month we are constantly trying to reach, send our help in various ways possible. We lost total contact with our leadership in Bangladesh for 15 days.  All children and parents in vulnerable areas were moved to places of less threat in tribal and hilltop places. Most of their houses were looted already. Some were just cooked white rice with salt sprinkled. GHHF lending support on a priority basis with the limited resources we have. Transport has been a major issue.
GHHF has helped local Hindus to get back some of their temples which were looted, deities thrown on to streets and encroached during Ayodhya. Now it has added burden for Hindus to protect again. Somehow, we are managing to protect several people.  Our Pracharaks and teachers are guarding our people risking their lives. Hundreds of our people are guarding our temples day and night in shifts. It is our responsibility to at least provide basics amenities and moral support. GHHF has full time Pracharaks and volunteers who are working round the clock.
Ever since mass uprising forced the Bangladesh Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina to step down and leave the country, Hindus have become targets. They are experiencing untold misery and unimaginable atrocities. Their houses are being torched, many Hindus were forced out of their houses, their houses were looted, Hindu Temples were demolished, Hindu deities were defaced and broken, they were beaten to death, cut their throats, cut their limbs and handing Hindus on the trees and celebrating the killing of Hindus.
When it comes to Hindu women, they were attacked in public, dragged from their house, raped in the public, drowned them in the water, cut the parts of their bodies in jubilation.
Kajal Debnath, a vice president of the Bangladesh Hindu Buddhist Christian Unity Council. “They are closing their doors; they are not opening it without confirming who is knocking. Everybody (in the Hindu minority) … from the Dhaka capital to the remote villages are very scared.”
Hindu population is declining day by day in Bangladesh. It dwindled from more than 22 percent in 1951 to less than 7 percent in 2023.
