Global Hindu Heritage Foundation has been at the forefront of doing Annadanam and engaged in charity work for years. During Pandemic in 2020, GHHF served more than 200,000 melas to the needy in In Andhra Pradesh. During floods in Assam, Andhra Pradesh and Tamil Nadu, GHHF provided meals to the needy by carrying food packets on boats to reach the remote villages. 
Children are our future and torchbearers of Hindu Dharma. It is our intent to provide the richness of our Dharma and make them proud of their way of life. In the process we are teaching them to be responsible for society and ensure peace and prosperity in society. Thus, we started teaching about the importance of Shanti Mantras, not only their meaning but the vibrations they create in society.
Shanti Mantras for Peace
The origin of this peace mantra is believed to be one of the oldest scriptures of Hinduism – Brihadaranyaka Upanishad, though not in the present form. This mantra, like many of the other ancient Sanskrit mantras, sends healing vibrations to all who meet it. When these types of mantras are chanted, obstacles and hindrances are believed to be pacified.

Meaning Om Sahanavavatu Mantra
Let us together (-saha) be protected (-na vavatu) and let us together be nourished (-bhunaktu) by God’s blessings. Let us together join our mental forces in strength (-veeryam) for the benefit of humanity (-karvaa vahai). Let our efforts at learning be luminous (-tejasvi) and filled with joy and endowed with the force of purpose (-vadhita mastu). Let us never (-maa) be poisoned (-vishaa) with the seeds of hatred for anyone. Let there be peace and serenity (-shaantih) in all the three universes.
Sarvesham Svastir Bhavatu mantra for peace – complete lyrics:
”Om Sarvesham Svastir Bhavatu
Sarvesham Shantir Bhavatu
Sharvesham Purnam Bhavatu
Sarvesham Mangalam Bhavatu.”
Om Shanti mantra meaning:
“May there be well-being and happiness in all
May there be peace and tranquility in all
May there be completeness and happiness in all
May there be success and prosperity in all.”
Om Shanti is an invocation for peace.
Om, in Sanskrit, cannot be translated into a specific meaning, but is used extensively as an invocation to God. It is said to be the original sound of the universe, and the chanting of the sound om is said to connect an individual to their divine source, or universal essence.
Shanti, is most commonly translated to mean peace. In some variations, shanti can be used to refer to a divine calm or sense of bliss-oneness with all that is.
Thus, when you chant Om, shanti, shanti, shanti, the mantra is an invocation to the universal, divine power within each of us, to bring peace to yourself and the world.
Often, shanti is repeated three times in order to represent peace of mind, peace in the body, and peace of spirit.

Meaning:
May my limbs, speech, Prana, eye, ear and power of all my senses grow vigorous! All is the pure Brahman of the Upanishads. May I never deny that Brahman! May that Brahman never desert me! Let that relationship endure. Let the virtues recited in the Upanishads be rooted in me. May they repose in me! Om peace. peace. peace!

Meaning:
Let my speech be rooted in my mind. Let my mind be rooted in my speech. Let Brahman (Supreme Reality) reveal Himself to me. Let my mind and speech enable me to grasp the truths of the Vedas. Let not what I have heard forsake me. Let me spend both day and night continuously in study. I think truth, I speak the truth. May that Truth protect me! May that Truth protect the teacher! Let peace prevail against heavenly, worldly and demoniacal troubles. Om peace, peace, peace!
