•   The Taittiriya Upanisad says: “Srddhaya deyam, Asraddhaya'deyam, Sriya deyam, Hriya deyam, Bhiya Deyam, Samvida deyam - “Give with faith. Do not give without faith. It should be given in plenty, with modesty, with sympathy, with sensitivity. Give with a feeling of abundance. Give with right understanding”

Sia Rama Temple has a long history and was built in 17th century by Kancharla Gopanna, who was the local Tahasildar, who is known as Bhakta Ramadas. On Sree Rama Navami, Sita Rama Kalyanam in Bhadrachalam will be performed. The tradition of Mutyala (pearls)Talambralu started during the Muslim rule in 17th century. Muslim Nawab used to send these Mutyala Talambralu and Silk clothes for the wedding.  Later the state government reintroduced the offering of Mutyala Talambralu and Sil clothes.
Lakhs of devotees across India and foreign countries attend and witness the wedding. It is very difficult to get accommodation, meals and even water. Hindus believe that charity, or dana, is important. This is because helping others is helping Brahman, as all living things have an atman, or piece of Brahman, within them. Selfless charitable acts are seen as examples of Karma yoga.
Dana means giving and sewa means selfless service. The concept of charity in Hinduism is about helping others without expecting something in return and because it is the right thing to do.
Global Hindu Heritage Foundation realizing the need to quench the thirst of the pilgrims, it decide along with J D Foundation to provide water and buttermilk. We prepare a big banners and posted them at a particular location for visibility. Many pilgrims are coming and pick up the buttermilk packets.
Tilakam on the forehead. T make realize the importance of applying Tilak on the forehead, GHHF volunteers are applying Vaishnava Tilak on the forehead between the eye brows of the pilgrims. The spot where the Bindi is applied is where the body’s most important chakra rests — the Ajna chakra. Our body has seven key chakras, energy centers. These chakras are a source of tremendous power. The Ajna chakra is particularly sacred, as it is the point of confluence of the three main Nadis — Ida, Pingala and Shushma. Therefore, it is also reverentially called Triveni or Sangam.
