Talking about the leading physicists and biologists who have found parallels between modern science and Hindu ideas, he said,  “Most of them came from elevated intellectual circles which rejected the dogmatism of the Christian Churches yet longed for spirituality and satisfactory answers to the fundamental questions of existence. In Vedanta, they found a wide-open, universal, and philosophically oriented religion where even the penetrating scientific mind could find something to its taste".

Global Hindu Heritage Foundation is extremely happy to organize Ghar Waapasi in East Godavari District near Kakinada. Our Associate, Ajay Varma, who volunteered to participate in this effort has a long history of propagating the richness of Hindu Dharma. He has a rich background in Hindu Dharma. He has deep knowledge of the traditions and has the ability to explain all our customs. For example, he can talk about the significance of Tilak on the forehead, and the reason to wear bangles, nose buds, earrings, toe rings, and so on. People get surprised to know the inner meaning of these age-old customs. From childhood, he worked as a priest in their heritage Hanuman Temple and used to do all kinds of Pujas, conduct homas, Satyanarayana Pujas, and many festivals bringing everybody to these festivals. He is very enthusiastic about propagating and preserving Sanatana Dharma and gives lectures at different Temples depicting the greatness of our culture and age-old traditions. He also has experience of knocking on the doors of Christian families in and around Kakinada. He met them wherever he was able to approach and talk to them. Some of them he met at their houses, and some met in the neighborhood.

Police filed False Charges Against Hindus; Agitation Ensued; Charges Dropped.

The incident happened in Jaddangi Annavaram in Yeleswaram Mandalam in East Godavari District. Christian missionaries from a village known as Lingamparthi went to Annavaram Village which is about 16 kilometers to propagate Christianity by insulting Hindu Gods. These Christians started visiting the houses one by one by saying that Jesus is the real God and Hindu should not worship the stones and they are Satans.

Many families said that they do not believe in Christianity, and they follow Hindu Dharma. When some of the Hindu Youth came to know about these missionaries insulting Hindu Gods, they went to the Police station and complained about these Christians who are insulting Hindu Gods by going to the houses.

Instead of filing cases against the aggressive Christians, the Police filed false cases against the youth and other family members who complained.

Ajay Verma and other Pracharaks of Global Hindu Heritage Foundation and Hanuman Dal members and other members from other organizations came to know of the incident and rushed to the location and talked to the youth and villagers. About 100 Hindu gathered and staged a protest against the Police Department. They all went to the Police station and asked why they charged  Hindus when it was the Christians who were insulting. They demanded that the Cases against the Hindus should be dropped.

The Police promised that they will investigate, talk to the Hindus, and file cases against the abusers.

Every time such acts are committed the Police officials will promise that they would investigate and do justice by arresting the culprits. This is a usual response from these officials. When you insist on why no progress has been reported they will give all kinds of excuses by saying that they are still working on the case. Sometimes they say that a mentally insane person committed the acts. Or falsely accuse somebody else, but never resolve the case.

Ajay Varma speaking to the assembled Hindus and government officials said that GHHF, Hanuman Dal, and other organizations are condemning this inhuman incident. The Hindus are losing their patience. Authorities should recognize that Hindu patience has its limits. Every time an incident like this happens, the Police Department is not taking it seriously. As we all remember that about two ago, a chariot was set on fire, no persons were identified so far. There were more than such attacks on Hindu temples in 2021.

GHHF Pracharaks are following the incident, checking on the status of the police investigation. Hindu youth are keeping an eye on the investigation.

WE NEED YOUR HELP

We appreciate it if you can help in hiring more people who can go to these villages to do Ghar Waapasi. We have employed 26 people so far. More people we hire, more villages can be covered to welcome them back and also create Chaitanya (Awareness) among the students and villagers.

1) Donate any amount to help the Dharma Pracharaks to work at the ground level.

2) Sponsor one Pracharak: In order to expand our base and hire one Pracharak, it would cost approximately $3000.00 per year. We have five anonymous donors who sponsored Assistants.
