Aleksandr Georgievich Spirkin (1918 - 2004)
"The culture of the ancient Orient affirmed not only ideas of man's dependence on the supernatural forces that were external to him; there was also a tendency to cultivate certain rules of behavior in relation to these forces, including techniques of training the body in relation to these forces to regulate and perfect bodily and spiritual processes. Various systems of exercises linked with religious beliefs were evolved to change the state of the mind, the consciousness, to achieve complete unity with the universe, to become one with the energy of nature.”
Global Hindu Heritage Foundation has organized the Ghar Waapasi program in Visakhapatnam and East Godavari districts for about two years. He talks to individuals belonging to Christian and Hindu family members about our efforts to welcome back to the Hindu field those who converted to Christianity. Our Associate Kollu Srinivasa Raju has been actively involved in visiting a number of villages in West Godavari District and Visakhapatnam. He distributes a 4-page document containing the rights of Hindus to encounter Christians and how to stop the construction of illegal churches.

On the occasion of Shraavana Masa, Sri Srinivas organized a big even by organizing and conducting Mangala Gowri Vratham in this village. The purpose is three-fold:
1)    We have to make Hindus, Hindus first. That means  that we have to make Hindus feel proud of their culture and traditions. It is our responsibility to teach about the significance of Puja, the number of steps to be followed, abhishekam, and devi Puja. It is only Sanatana Dharma that gives enormous respect for women. Unlike other religions where women are not even permitted to their intuitions, or where women remain silent, Sanatana Dharma give enough freedom to express their feelings and allowed to think independently.
2)    Also, we try to educate them about how Christians might distort our customs, our pujas to Devi and other Gods, and our traditions. Once we educate our women with the significance of these rituals and festivals, it would be easy for our women to defend our customs.
3)    Also talk about the differences between Hinduism and Christianity, the respect Hindus have toward Women. Our scriptures say that no puja can be done without the presence of women. In other religion women are completely excluded from the religious rituals.
Mangala Gowri Puja, or Shravana Mangala Gowri Puja, is an important Vrata observed by married women. It is performed for a happy married life and for the long life of the husband. It is observed on Mangala Vara / Tuesdays in the Shravan. Mangala Gowri pooja is done by newly married women for 5 years.
Mangala Gowri Vratha
Early morning the lady should have a bath, prepare the idol of Gowri with turmeric decorate it with some cloth. All the pooja items are kept ready. Uncooked rice has to kept in the silver plate, kalasha is kept on the rice plate, kalasha is filled with water inside kalasha keep five betel leaves and keep coconut with turmeric, keep Gowri made of turmeric and silver idol of Gowri if you have and keep Ganesh idol, before starting the pooja worship Ganesh and do pooja for Ganesh and then start doing abhishekam for turmeric gourbi by sprinkling milk, water. The ashtothra is then done with flowers after which a managal Arathri is completed. The story of Mangala Gowri is read keeping kadge( apply ghee for spoon and we have to keep it in on Deepa till we complete reading story) once story is done, we have to remove spoon from Deepa so that spoon will be covered with black ash, that we have to keep it on forehead for all women we call for Kumkum.
Mangala Gowri Thambula
A minimum of five women must be called for the occasion and offer thambulam. Thambula will contain 5 varieties of cut fruits, green sprouted, thamta( made of rice flour and sesame seeds) this pooja has to be done on all Tuesdays of Shravana month for 5 years.
Sri Srinivas goes to these colonies and talked to both Christians and Hindus about sexual promiscuity and Pastor’s lust . All of us would recognize what is written in Bhagavad Gita and  the Bible. It says that Jesus came here not to bring peace, but he came with a Sword and is ready to use it to create a bloodbath.  In fact, Jesus also says that he came here to divide the people, not to unite them. WE NEED YOUR HELP
We appreciate it if you can help in hiring more people who can go to these villages to do Ghar Waapasi. We have employed 26 people so far. More people we hire, more villages can be covered to welcome them back and also create Chaitanya (Awareness) among the students and villagers. Also,  we are conducting 150 Bala Kendras in five States. Support one or more Kendras.
1) Sponsor one Bala Samskar Kendra for $1000.00
2) Sponsor one Pracharak: In order to expand our base and hire one Pracharak, it would cost approximately $3000.00 - $3500.00 per year. We have five anonymous donors who sponsored 9 Pracharaks
