"The strength of Hinduism lies in its infinite adaptability to the infinite diversity of human character and human tendencies. It has its highly spiritual and abstract side suited to the philosopher, its practical to the man of the world, its aesthetic and ceremonial side attuned to the man of the poetic feeling and imagination; and its quiescent contemplative aspect that has its appeal for the man of peace and the lover of seclusion." Sir Monier-Williams (1860-1888)

Global Hindu Heritage Foundation is extremely happy to inform that Sri Sai Datta Lokeswarananda Swamiji visited a number of villages in the Agency area of Vishakhapatnam. As per our ancient tradition, the villagers come out and wash his feet to receive his blessings. Even Christians come out and did the same thing. Many of them converted through allurement, pressure, and fear. They did not feel at home listening to all kinds of sins and the concept of only one God. It is very difficult for them to forget their Sanatana Dharma roots. This used to be a tradition in earlier times. Now it is being revived in some areas. GHHF and Sai Datta Mansa Peetham jointly working to elevate the people to the richness of our culture. That is how Swamiji was successful in reconverting the Christians back into Hinduism.

During this Ghar Waapasi ceremony, Sri Swamiji welcomed all those who returned to Hinduism and conducted Dasha Sahasra Sree Rama Japa Mahayagnam. Narrating the significance of This Mahayagnam he explained the discussion between Lord Siva and Parvati.  Lord Shiva told to Goddess Parvathi that chanting the Lord Rama Nama Japa 3 times is equivalent to reciting the entire list of Lord Rama’s thousand names. That means chanting this “Sri Rama Rama ” sloka is equal to the entire Vishnu Sahasranamam.

Chanting Ram Nam is the ultimate way to get all the desires.  Worship of Lord Rama enhances self-esteem, will power, mental strength, and peace of mind.

Shri Rama Rama Rameti, Rame Rame Manorame;
Sahasrenama tattulyam, Rama Nama Varanane

Meaning:
By meditating on "Rama Rama Rama" (the Name of Rama), my Mind gets absorbed in the Divine Consciousness of Rama, which is Transcendental, The Name of Rama is as Great as the Thousand Names of God (Vishnu Sahasranama-stotra, Uttara-khanda, Padma Purana 72.335).

Many families returned to the Hindu faith and some of them participated in PUJA and BHAJANS. Many Christians participated in performing Puja. They were given a Blouse piece, an Upper garment for men, Kumkum, God’s picture, Hanuman flag, and other items.
