"I think when you see so many Hindu temples of the tenth century or earlier time disfigured, defaced, you know that they were not just defaced for fun: that something terrible happened. I feel that the civilization of that closed world was mortally wounded by those invasions. And I would like people, as it were, to be more reverential towards the past, to try to understand it; to preserve it; instead of living in its ruins. The Old World is destroyed. That has to be understood. The ancient Hindu India was destroyed."  V S Naipaul
Global Hindu Heritage Foundation (GHHF) and JD Foundation organized this program in distributing environment friendly Ganesh idols, along with a Mum plant and a herbal drink for immunity. People all around flocked in as every year and cherished. All we ask is to stick to dharma and protect nature. About 25 members from JD Foundation and GHHF volunteered in the order, packing, plantation, and distribution process and thoroughly enjoyed this dharmic activity.
Global Hindu Heritage Foundation/www.savetemples.org and JD Foundation have prepared 3000 Ganesh Murthies. We distributed these environmentally friendly Ganesh idols freely to the public. Also, Mum plant is being distributed free of cost to everyone. This Murthy will have Tulasi seeds within to ensure they will keep them in their houses.
GHHF and JGF are also freely distributing Kashayam, an herbal immunity booster along with so that you will be safeguarded from this pandemic. Everybody is invited to come and pick one from Pinnamaneni's banquet halls, Gopalpatnam, Visakhapatnam. We welcome everybody to register if you are willing to volunteer in any activities we organize for the welfare of humanity.
Lord Ganesh
Lord Ganesha, popularly known and easily recognized as the Elephant-God, is one of the most important deities of the Hindu Patheon. Before every undertaking, be it laying of the foundation of a house, or opening of a store or beginning any other work, Lord Ganesh is first worshipped so at to invoke his blessings.
Ganesha has many names. The main ones are Ganapati (lord of the ganas, or attendants), Vighneshwara (controller of all obstacles), Vinayaka (the prominent leader), Gajaanana (elephant-faced), Lambodara (pendant-bellied), and Ekadanta (having one tusk).
Ganesha is described as an elephant God who represents the power of the Supreme Being that removes obstacles and ensures success in human endeavors. Hindu scriptures recommend the worshipping of Ganesha before the beginning of any religious, spiritual, or worldly activity.  Many students go to the Temple before they commence their studies. Business people go and seek his blessings to remove all impediments. Spiritual people worship seeking the wisdom needed to grow spiritually.
