"The five fundamentals of Hindu philosophy are: Brahman, the one God, atman, the imperishable spirit, samsara, reincarnation; karma-pala, action and resulting reward and punishment; moksha, uniting with God after the disappearance of desire. These are called the Panch Crada, or "five principles."

1. Bala Samskar Kendras in Kurnool – Students visited Mantralayam Temple to have a Darshan of Sri Raghavendra Swamy. (5/21)

Students were taken to Mantralayam where they gad darshan of Raghavendra Swamy. The teacher told them about some of the miracles of Swam. Sri Raghavendra Swamy was born in 1601 A.D. at Bhuvanagiri (Tamil Nadu), by the benign Grace of Lord Venkateswara, when all the planets were in exalted and auspicious houses, bestowing a long divine life, (700 years) full of miracles and healing powers for the welfare of humanity. He ruled the Vedic Samrajya from 1624 to 1671. His 331st Aradhana was celebrated on August 24, when lakhs of devotees thronged Mantralayam and the hundreds of Brindavans in India and abroad.

2. Bala Samskar Kendras – learned about a story that teaches about the importance of associating with Trustworthy people. (5/22)

There lived a crow and a deer who had been friends since they were young. There was also a fox who craved to eat the plump and healthy deer. "It'll be delicious if I have this deer for lunch. But first and foremost, I must gain trust of the deer,' the cunning fox thought.  The fox returned the next day to the spot where the deer and the crow were having a chat as usual. "Hello, I've seen you a few times and I'd like to be your friend!" he said. "How can you be friends with us!" exclaimed the crow. The fox was quite clever and questioned him, asking, "Why can't a fox be friends with a crow and a deer? Please give me the opportunity to prove myself. I promise to be a nice friend!"

3. Organizing TEN Bala Sanskar Kendras in Bangladesh – Students are learning Vedic Slokas and Bhagavad Gita Verses; one Hindu Girl rescued from Love Jihad.(5/23)

Global Hindu Heritage is very happy to inform that we are organizing 10 Bala Samskar Kendras in Bangladesh. As many of you are aware that we started about 200 Bala Samskar Kendras in six States in India – Assam, Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu and Madhya Pradesh - to teach about the richness of Hinduism, Hindu festivals, Hindu ethos, Hindu History, and culture and traditions. Swami Maheswara Chaitanya Brahmacharyaji has been coordinating and organizing activities in Bangladesh – Bala Samskar and other activities. He was responsible for identifying 10 teachers for Bala Samskar.

4. Bala Samskar Kendras – Students learned that chanting Sri Rama Rama Ramet Slokam is equal to chanting entire Vishnu Sahasranama  Stotram. (5/24)

This sloka has the power of Vishnu Sahasranama. It is said that the mantra was first revealed to Sage Valmiki, the author of the Ramayana, by the sage Narada, who instructed him to meditate on the divine name of Rama.

Valmiki repeated the name "Rama" three times, and from this came the powerful mantra "Shri Rama Rama Rameti". This timeless Ram mantra has been chanted by devotees for centuries as a means of seeking spiritual enlightenment and connecting with the divine.

5. Ghar Waapasi – Built Water Tubs and placed them in different locations to provide water to animals and Birds during this scorching hot summer “ (5/25)

On behalf of Global Hindu Heritage Foundation, Sri Pinnamaneni Srinivas and his innumerable friends decided to do their part which they usually, every year in and around Visakhapatnam. This year we decided to provide water to the animals.  To provide water GHHF decided to make water tubs with concrete so that they will last longer. Then our volunteers will fill these tubas every day to make sure that the animals such as cows, dogs and birds can drink water This is installed in many places in and around Visakhapatnam area. Our efforts received  applaud from locals, pilgrims,  and even the auto stand union who voluntarily agreed to secure, watch and refill as needed. Few newspapers covered the event.

6. Bala Samskar Kendras – Students learned few verses of Hanuman Chalisa and Benefits of Chanting (5/27)

Chanting of Hanuman Chalisa: It is believed among that reciting the Hanuman Chalisa can ward off evil spirits, reduce the effect of Saturn and help those troubled by nightmares. It gives one strength and courage to face challenges head-on.

Hanuman Chalisa is a set of 40 poetic verses dedicated to the devotee of Lord Rama, Hanuman. It was composed by Tulsidas while he was imprisoned by Mughal emperor Aurangzeb. When Aurangzeb challenged Tulsidas to show the lord to him, he replied that Rama could only be seen with true devotion. This angered the emperor and he put the poet behind bars.

7. Bala Samskar Kendras in West Godavari District – Ashokji started Bhagavad Gita Saptaha with more than 100 students – Three days completed. (5/28)

It was decided to conduct Bhagavad Gita Saptaha in order to teach the proper way of chanting and also the importance of Bhagavad Gita. It is conducted in the premise of Andalamma Devi Temple in Vadali Village in Penukonda Mandalam of West Godavari District. The are meeting seven consecutive days from 8:00am to 11:00am. Since these are summer holidays, many students are able to attend and took advantage of the Saptaha. Thewy have divided Bhagavad Gita into seven parts and completing to ensure it will be completed in seven days.

8. Bala Samskar Kendras in Assam – learned about the life of Veera Savarkar, his struggle to free India from British, 50 years hard labor and his book on Hindutva. (5/29)

Vinayak Damodar Savarkar (28 May 1883 – 26 February 1966), was an Indian politician, activist, and writer. Savarkar developed the Hindu nationalist political ideology of Hindutva while imprisoned at Ratnagiri in 1922.He was a leading figure in the Hindu Mahasabha. He started using the honorific prefix Veer ("brave") since he wrote his autobiography. Savarkar joined the Hindu Mahasabha and popularized the term Hindutva (Hinduness), previously coined by Chandranath Basu, to create a collective "Hindu" identity as an essence of Bharat (India).

9. Bala Samskar Kendras – Students are learning Mrityunjaya Mantra, its importance and Benefits of Chanting. (5/30)

Mahamrityunjay mantra is from the Rig Veda of the Hindu religion and is considered the most powerful shiv mantra. It is also called the Om Tryambakam Mantra. The purpose of this mantra is that it brings immortality, prevents premature death, and protects from difficult situations. Chanting this mantra leads to the elimination of fear, as it calms the soul and makes it strong. Regular chanting of the Mahamrityunjay Mantra leads to the performer feeling safe and secure. It is also believed that reciting the Mahamrityunjay mantra reduces physical ailments and keeps the body healthy.

10. Bala Samskar Kendras – Teachers taught about Veera Savarkar, his views on the greatness of Bharat, and his book on Hindutva (5/31)

Vinayak Damodar Savarkar, commonly known as Swatantryaveer Savarkar was a fearless freedom fighter, social reformer, writer, dramatist, poet, historian, political leader and philosopher. He remains largely unknown to the masses because of the vicious propaganda against him and misunderstanding around him that has been created over several decades. This website attempts to bring the life, thought, actions and relevance of Savarkar before a global audience.
