GHHF requests the Chief Minister to appoint a Hindu who is knowledgeable about our scriptures, know the importance of maintaining the sacredness of Sri Balaji and aware of the sentiments of devotees who throng the Sacred Tirumala.

Global Hindu Heritage Foundation was started in 2006 with a mission to protect, and safeguard Hindu Temples from the interference of the State governments. In general, we are working relentlessly at the government level, and grass roots level to nurture, nourish and protect Sanatana Dharma. As a President and Co-Founder of GHHF, we have submitted several memorandums and several letters to ensure the sacredness of TTD and other Temples in Andhra Pradesh.

Recognizing the importance of maintain the sacredness of Balaji Temple, in May 2007 Prakasarao Velagapudi and Prasad Yalamanchi of GHHF submitted a Memorandum of Understanding to then Chief Minister Sri Rajasekhara Reddy in person in Chicago and explained the need to appoint a Hindu to TTD. Similar letter was also submitted to Sri Chandra Babu Naidu also.

In July 2007, we took an appointment and met with the then TTD Chairman Sri B. Karunakara Reddy and talked about the number of Christian employees working at TTD, the distribution of Christian material on the Hill and the number of Christian employees living in Tirumala.

Over the years we met a number of Executive officers such as I Y R Krishna Rao;  V. Gopal, L V Subramanyam, D. Sambasiva Rao, Anil Singhal, and also TTD Chairmen such as B. Karunakara Reddy, Chadalavada Krishna Murthy, S V Subba Reddy and others.

Knowing that Sri Karunakar Reddy practices Christianity, we are requesting Sri Jagan Mohan Reddy to replace him with a Practicing Hindu to the position. Christianity is evangelical religion that requires Christians not only to practice their religion but require them to propagate. There are several instances where Hindu employees are even harassed for believing in Balaji. Obviously, being a Christian, Sri Karunakar Reddy will practice his religion on the Hill.

In 2019, GHHF met with the then Executive Officer Sri Shingal and submitted a letter indicating that as many as 15-18 percent of TTD employees are Christians working on the Hill, in the educational Institutions and hospitals professing Christianity.

TTD is the most sacred place on earth for all Hindus. We want to make sure the sanctity and sacredness is maintained by appointing a strong practicing Hindu. Your involvement would make a difference,
