There lived a boy named Suresh in a small village. He was very intelligent in studies. But whatever work he did, he was very anxious to do it well. He worked hard, but he would feel very sad if he did not get the results he wanted.
One day his teacher noticed Suresh being sad and said to him, “Suresh, you are working very hard. But the result will not be in control. Only the work we do is in our hands.  Remember the good words of Lord Krishna said to Arjuna “Karmanye Vadhikaraste Ma Phaleshu Kadachana.” That is, 'O Arjuna, you have a right to perform your prescribed duties, but you are not entitled to the fruits of your actions. Never consider yourself to be the cause of the results of your activities, nor be attached to inaction.”
That means, concentrating on doing your duty is your responsibility. Teacher said, let me tell you to understand clearly by giving practical examples.
We eat food every day. Because farmers are doing his duty to cultivate the land.  Why do you want to do farming? A farmer works very hard to grow crops in his field. But whenever there is excess rain, or diseases occur, crops fail to grow. If the crop grows well then, he gets more profit.  Whether he gets profit or not, the farmer continues to do his work. If he is concerned about results rather than work Just think what will happen. We may not get food. Similarly, we also do our work. Do it faithfully. One should be engaged in action without thinking about the result.
Suresh remembering the words of his Guru, then he started doing his work. He did every task with great effort but did not worry about the result. Over a period, he understood that hard work is more important than results.
Moral of the story:
● Must be engaged in action: Do our work without worrying about the result.
● Effort is important: Whatever the result, it is important that we try.
● Patience is very important: It may take some time to get results. Must have patience.
