Global Hindu Heritage Foundation organized a PRESS MEET in Press Club in Somajiguda, Hyderabad on November 21 demanding a number of requests to protect, Hindu Temples, treat them in par with Churches and Mosques, and repeal the Endowment Act allowing Hindus to manage their own Hindu Temples.
GHHF is grateful to Sri L V Subramanyam, L V Gangadhara Sastry, Sri M Nageswara Rao, Sri Remella Avadhanulu and Smt Pankaj Srinivasan for joining Prakasarao Velagapudi, President of GHHF to echo the need for the independence of Hindu Temples.
Sri Venugopal Arjun Rana Singh and other GHHF Bharat Team has taken the full responsibility of coordinating the event meticulously, inviting the news media and making all the arrangements.
On behalf of GHHF and GHHF Bharat, Prakasarao Velagapudi urges the concerned State authorities to pay attention to our demands. He mentioned that no other country on this planet earth, 80 precent of majority population was shackled and subjugated to the arbitrary decisions of political whims and fancies. Following rae some of the demands:
- Andhra Pradesh government to free Hindu Temples from its control and allow Hindus to manage their Temples like Churches and Mosques which are managed by Christians and Muslims respectively.
- Hindu leaders, organizations, and devotees to unite in demanding temple autonomy and self-governance.
- TTD and other temple authorities prioritize transparency, accountability, and spiritual integrity.
Andhra Pradesh should declare Tirumala, Tirupati, and Tiruchanur as Punyakshetra as suggested by former Chief Minister N T Rama Rao
- Andhra Pradesh should set up Sanatana Dharma Rakshana Board to be managed by Hindu leaders with no political affiliations.
- The Government of India and state governments to take immediate action against temple adulteration and mismanagement only to advise the local Managing team to operate as per the wishes of the Village Hindus.
- Abolish the Ministry of Minority Affairs - no more privileges to any group. Uniform laws to all the citizens.
- Declare India as Hindu Rashtra to protect and preserve the welfare of the humanity.
Conclusion:
The sanctity of our temples is non-negotiable. Temples freedom from government is uncompromising. Protecting and preserving the integrity and sanctity of Hindu Temples is a must. We will continue to raise our voices until meaningful reforms are implemented and until Hindu Temples are released from the government.
