Global Hindu Heritage Foundation is extremely happy to inform that in Gajulapalli village of Kalyanadurgam mandal, a Christian woman, her two sons and their wives are coming to Hindu villages and started converting them. They were visiting two houses and praying and trying to convert them.
Then our Pracharaks and Sri Gopi Krishna Garu met with these families and reconverted them back to Hinduism. After the entire family was brought into Hinduism and they performed the Nagula Pratishta and promised to take care of the Temple.
The lady why who retuned to Hinduism along with about 14 people converted to Christianity about five years ago. Her husband was a strong Hindu who refused to be converted. In fact, it was his life ambition to do Naga Pratishta in the village. He died recently without fulfilling his desire.
After the lady returned to Hinduism, Sri Gopi Krisha convinced her to fulfill her husband’s wishes. She agreed and performed Naga Pratishta.
Why Prana Pratishta to Naga (Serpent)?
The Naga Pratishtha Pooja is a Hindu ritual that is performed to appease the serpent gods, also known as Nagas. This pooja is one of the most powerful and auspicious poojas and is believed to bring blessings, prosperity, and good health to the devotees. The pooja involves a series of rituals and offerings to the serpent gods and is performed with great devotion and reverence.
The main pooja involves offering various types of offerings to the serpent gods. These offerings can include food items such as fruits, sweets, and milk, as well as flowers, incense, and camphor.
One of the key components of the Naga Pratishtha Pooja is the offering of milk to the serpent gods. This is a very powerful and auspicious act and is believed to bring great blessings and prosperity to the devotees. The milk is poured into a small shallow pit that has been dug near the platform and is left there overnight.
The pooja is performed with great devotion and reverence and is believed to bring blessings, prosperity, and good health to the devotees.
Naga Pratishta is done in an open area with either Peepal tree, Neem tree or Shami tree. Or all three behind the Nagas. Neem tree, Peepal tree and Shami tree (Jammi)
All the devotees who came first put Tilak on their foreheads and read Gotras of those attending the program.
Ganapati Puja, Navagraha Puja, and offered milk to the Nagas.
Mrityunjaya Homa, Ganapati Homa, Navagraha Homa, Dosha Praveeta Homa, Naga devata Homa were performed.
Protection bracelets were tied to all, and blessings were given. The pastors come and pray for the family next door. We have also invited them to the puja, now that they have all become Hindus. Now our plan is to discuss with the village committee and put up a board not to promote other religions and prevent Christian pastors from coming to that village and make the entire village practice Hinduism.
About 80 to 100 people participated in this program and organized prasadam and food donation programs for all.
 The program was successful.
