Global Hindu Heritage Foundation is thrilled to know the miracle happening in a Temple that is renovated by GHHF. This is one of a kind miracle people can go and watch the boiling water turn cool as the Priest performs Abhishekam. Miracles do happen. We should never underestimate the power of our Gods. Miracles come in different shapes and different forms to show that God is guiding, listening, watching and protecting. Our faith and selfless service to God have their way of showing the blessing of Gods.

The Surya Temple, located in Budagavi, Uravakonda, Anantapur District, Andhra Pradesh, on the way to Bellary, is known for a divine miracle associated with the idol of Surya, the Sun God. It is believed that when boiling water is poured over the head of the idol, it gradually cools as it flows down, becoming pleasantly warm by the time it reaches the feet. Devotees see this as a sign of the Sun God’s immense power and blessings. Witnessing this phenomenon fills them with awe and strengthens their faith. It serves as a reminder of the divine presence, inspiring devotion and gratitude in the hearts of all who experience it.

History of Surya Narayan Temple.
One of our GHHF Member and his family’s vision and passion brought back old glory into a historical temple when the doors of the Surya temple at Budagavi village in Andhra Pradesh opened to daily rituals after renovation in 2009. It took Kasibhatla five months of his time, and personal funds to renovate the temple as per Vastu Shastras, under able Agama Pundits.
He came to know about this 800-year-old Temple and its history. Then his family with the support of GHHF decided to renovate the 13th century Sri Surya Narayana Temple.
This is the second Surya Temple in AP, first one being Suryanarayana Temple in Arasuville, in Srikakulam District. 

Thwarted Andhra Pradesh Government’s Take Over!
Jagan Mohan Reddy government tried to take over in 2020. With relentless efforts of GHHF, we were able to withstand the pressure for nearly three years. We want to applaud the villager’s commitment to be united and oppose the government’s effort. The villagers went to High court on March 9, 2023, and received STAY ORDER disallowing the government to take over the Temple.
